Cowboys Defensive Lineman Kneeland Dies at Age 24

Cowboys player Marshawn Kneeland has died aged 24.
Kneeland was drafted by the Cowboys in the second round of the draft in 2024 and appeared in 18 games for the team, including four starts.
He scored his first touchdown in the Tuesday game to the Arizona Cardinals when he recovered a blocked punt.
"Marshawn was a beloved teammate and part of our family," the Dallas Cowboys stated.
"Our thoughts and prayers regarding Marshawn are with his girlfriend Catalina and his loved ones."
Kneeland was selected by Dallas with the 56th overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft after playing college football for Western Michigan University.
His representative, Jonathan Perzley, said his "heart breaks" for the loss of the athlete who "gave his all" into each opportunity.
"I saw him strive his way from a aspiring young man at Western Michigan with a dream to being a esteemed pro for the Dallas Cowboys," Perzley commented.
The NFL said it is "profoundly grieved" by the news.
