Christantus Uche Fuels Comfortable Palace Triumph at Irish Side Shelbourne.

A further victory in their upcoming fixture against Finland's KuPS should be sufficient to secure straight passage to the last 16, particularly after a previous setback against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Seize the Opportunity
This occasion provided a platform for some of Palace's fringe talent to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second start after joining on loan from Getafe, opened the account with a clinical goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah contributed a second, scoring for the second consecutive succession.

The contest was as good as over eight minutes from half-time. Yeremy Pino weaved past a series of weak challenges before coolly slotting a shot past keeper Wessel Speel to make it 3-0.
After the break, manager Oliver Glasner took the chance to rest key individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse almost scoring his first touch, only to see his effort blocked.
Esse was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one shot crash off both posts before being gathered on the line. Uche also missed a sitter of a chance, indicating there is still scope for development in his game.
The only worry for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his first-team debut, rounding off an otherwise perfect night for the traveling side.
